Mary L. Alfano
Mary Alfano was adopted by the Staffords, a christian family in Nebraska, when she was only 5 days old. She was raised on their farm and greatly appreciated animals, growing plants and flowers, and fishing in a near by creek.

She met Thomas Alfano through a home bound ministry and in 1993 they were married. Mary became ill shortly after their marriage. Even though suffering from cancer, she always had a big smile  and "I'm feeling fine" response to anyone inquiring. She had a sweetness about her that was very apparent both in her appearance and Godly spirit and faith. Her testimony about faith in our Lord and being totally positive affected many people in and outside the First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks. She was loved by everyone who came in contact with her and especially by Tom, her helpmate, her parents, her two children, and Tom's family. 

She only had 49 years here on planet earth, but with a lot of love and caring. Now she is a "heavenly angle" suffering no more.
